Banjoe, a man no more.

Our little Banjoe got neutered today. Any male dog owner will know that there comes a time when the territory marking and bed humping becomes, well, too much. It also reduces their risk of testicular cancer, and its all round just less frustrating for them.

I couldn’t face bringing him in, so Nic dropped him off this morning at about 8am. I got a phone call from Nic as soon as he had left the vet and I literally thought he was going to cry. He explained how he had to lead Banjoe into a little cage holding at the back of the vets offices and close the door. He went on to tell me how Banjoe looked at him with his already sad eyes as if to say ‘what are you doing, where are you going?’, and proceeded to wimper and cry as Nic walked away. Heartbreaking. They said they’d only do the operation at about 11am.

However, it’s one that is incredibly tasty as is. But you can get pretty creative with it. Enjoy x
